We do things differently at Torrin Audio. You and your songs are the most important thing to us and we will always aim to give a professional but friendly and efficient service.

 

How does it work?

 

We don’t do a flat “per song” rate because every song is different. For example, mixing a simple rock number with a lead vocal, bass, drums and a couple of guitars should take a lot less time than a large multi-track project with multiple vocals, layered guitars, synths, drums, programmed rhythms, sound effects and more.

 

So, to make it work for us and you here’s what we do:

 

• You give us a rough idea of the project – number of songs, track count per song, style, whether you’re against a deadline, etc...

• We will then give you an estimated, competitive price based on that information

• If you’re happy to proceed further, we will arrange a secure Dropbox folder for file transfer and on receipt of your material we will produce a quick, rough mix of one song (of your choosing) and upload approximately 60% of that mix for your approval and give you a firm quotation for the full mix(es). We guarantee that this quotation will never be frighteningly in excess of the estimate and, if it’s even a bit more we will explain why in detail

• Only once we’ve got this far do you pay

• We mix and, if required, master your songs

• We upload the songs for approval; the quotation will cover the cost of up to 5 revised mixes per song

 

That’s it… you get great mixes, we get some money!
